Dr Adam Harvey-Managing Director

Dr Adam Harvey has specialized in rural development in Africa and Asia over the past 25 years, focusing on water and sanitation, renewable energy and energy efficiency. He has advised government on improved regulation and has developed practical Public-private Partnership frameworks, most recenty in the WASH sector. Dr Harvey holds an MA from Oxford University in Economics and Sociology and a PhD in Engineering from Warwick University, UK.


Annitah Atusinguza-Finance Manager

Annitah Atusinguza leads the administration team and takes responsibility for accounts and office management in our Kampala and regional offices. She plays a key role in our work in mobile money and banking facilities for rural communities. Prior to joining Whave, Annitah worked with Pride Microfinance Limited (MDI) Uganda as a credit officer and customer care officer. She is a Business Statistics graduate from Makerere University.


Joel Mukanga-Program Coordinator

Joel takes responsibility for the partnership development with Local Government, with Whave franchisee WASH Service Technicians and with rural communities. He is also the District Manager for Kamuli office. He has extensive experience in the management of WASH programs. Joel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Adult and Community Education from Kyambogo University, a Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Master of Arts in Development Studies from Uganda Martyrs University.



Faith Tebesigwa-District Manager, Kumi

Previously a Community Development Facilitator over a period of four years, Faith refined her sensitization, resource mobilization and communication skills. She also gained practical experience of gender mainstreaming and the application of human rights-based approaches to development programming. Faith holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Social Administration from Uganda Christian University and an Administrative Law Certificate from Makerere Law School.


Brian Sebulime-Finance & Ops Manager, Karamoja

Brian is an accounting professional with over 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, and grants management. As the Finance and Operations Manager of the USAID-funded Apolou project in Karamoja, Brian works to institute regular analytical reporting, information sharing and trouble-shooting systems and processes. Brian is a CPA(U) professional who holds a Bachelors in Management Science (BMS) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from UMI. 


Ronald Okuraja-Program Manager, Karamoja

Ronald Okuraja has ten of experience as a Program Manager for development initiatives in Uganda’s North-eastern region, taking lead in planning, coordination, advocacy, leadership and monitoring of WASH programs. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Management from Islamic University in Uganda and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Social Administration from Uganda Christian University. He has also undertaken trainings in the management of community-based projects.
